A new year’s tale

Once upon this age in time

There lived a woman

Who did not know her own worth.

Year after year,  she failed to learn.

Her life was in shambles,

From all her life’s disasters.

Too many battles,

not enough laughter.

Surrounded by trolls,

Selfish humans,

And narcissists that were time consuming.

There has to be more to life than this,

A thought she constantly asked,

For many sleepless nights.

With a tired body,

and a starving mind,

She waited for an omen or a sign.

One new year’s eve,

The woman awoke,

In a dream her spirit had spoke.

She no longer felt alone,

She found true love and self-worth.

She made a vow,

 “New year,

new me,

watch me ascend and be free,

In my mind I hold the key,

The new year begins and will end with me.

my new year’s resolution;

Re create my reality.

with a selfish heart

and a quiet mind.

be still and let it come.

this new year will be the one.

 forget my enemies,

I am a much greater entity.

The time has come to say

goodbye,

so we may welcome

the evolution that has begun..

Leaving behind

All toxic things

People, places,  and memories.

Taking out all the garbage.

No more fucking with

narcissists!!!

This year I put myself first

Changing everything that surrounds me

taking spiritual inventory

The death and rebirth

Of a hybrid breed,

The best vesrsion of me.

Where darkness ends and light begins.

A weak heart, that lives no more,

Died unloved and alone

Enter beautiful selfish heart

The rebirth of a new and improved

version of my former self.

Leaving behind people and things

that did not serve my purpose.

All the kindness wasted on selfish humans.

Never again.

I contemplate a new strategy

Demolish goals,

And put myself above all.

Welcome change,

set me free,

leaving behind the old me.

the gift of peace is free,

I destroy and create a new version of me

This new years tale,

will have a happy ending.

Stay tuned

I am rewriting my ending…

In Conclusion:

This new year will be

better than the last,

starting over and parting with the past.

we dance to the goodbye.

And to the future we greet at sunrise..

What will you do this year to empower yourself??
